Dearest lovers and stewards of The Trees, 

ForNational Coming Out Day, since everybody knows I’m gay already, I thought I would come out about something else. Here goes:

Even though I wrote an eco-homo-erotic musical, I’m not really a “nature person.”

There, I said it.

I’m more hotel than tent. 🏕️ More sidewalk than trail. More pigeon than raptor. 🐦 More campy than camper.

What about you? Which way do you sway? And how do you feel about it? 🌲 That’s what The Trees is really about: articulating humanity’s fraught love affair with nature.
